I am an internationally successful performer of European cabaret and Jewish music, an ordained cantor with a Masters in Music, and a voice teacher with over ten years experience in Manhattan.
If you want to learn to sing, I can:
- Expand your range and strengthen your voice
- Explore musical styles that suit you best
- Teach you to solidify your pitch
- Help you develop a home practice routine
If you are a professional singer or an aspiring singer with vocal problems, I can help you:
- Become a powerful performer with a commanding voice
- Explore career options and audition repertoire
- Heal your voice from strains and harmful technique
My method, taught to me by master teacher, Dr. Michael Warren, is unique because it really works. You will learn to sing with a power, ease, and resonance you never thought possible; we will make your true voice and artistry flower. Pretty soon, your voice may blow your mind--with this technique, the vocal growth never stops!
I teach singers of all levels and ages, specializing in adolescents.
Past students include:
- Jake Blum -- rock and roll singer and band leader
- Rosie Cherry -- radio announcer and R&B singer
- Roger Reed -- klezmer musician and country music singer
- Gina Felich -- aspiring musical theater star (16 years old.)
First half-hour consultation free; subsequent lessons $90/hour. Sessions taught in Morningside Heights at my home. Lessons are a capella, so as to emphasize this method, unless piano accompaniment is specifically requested. Three times a year, special group performances are arranged for all students.
