On Monday, May 12^th, Rebecca Joy Fletcher will present at a one day symposium "Politics and Culture in Musical Theater" in Jerusalem Israel.

The event is organized jointly by the departments of theater, music, and art at Hebrew University. Rebecca is the specialist on cabaret and she will perform "String of Pearls," her one-hour cabaret show that highlights the remarkable contributions of Jewish cabaret artists in Warsaw, Paris, Tel Aviv, and Berlin and deliver a lecture entitled "Jewish Cabaret Artists between the Wars: modernists, outsiders, visionaries."
